Leadership Team Training Program

Junior Leadership Team

1: Each potential member must have an instructor / sponsor and must fill out an application in order to participate. Each student must seek out an instructor sponsor in order to be on our prestigious Junior Leadership Team.

Once the student has one of your instructors sponsor him, then he must fill out an application to complete the initial process. The application asks key questions about transportation and study habits to help diffuse a potential problem in these areas, and has a section for the sponsoring instructor to fill out. The application also includes a “Junior Leadership Code of Ethics” that the student must read and sign. By filling out this application, you will have covered the basic requirements of the Junior Leadership Team, and bring to their attention what you expect of them.

2: Each potential member must complete a probationary period before becoming an official junior leadership team member. Once the student submits the application and is approved, he must complete a probationary period of 30 days in order to become and official member. This gives us an opportunity to evaluate their performance and reinforce the rules while their motivation is fresh. Once the probationary period is complete, the student will be rewarded with their Junior Leadership Team patch and/ or uniform to proudly wear when assisting.

3: We set up 3 different levels of leadership based on rank, skill, attendance, and performance. During the probationary period, we also have the opportunity to evaluate the student’s performance and qualify them for a particular level of leadership. The higher the level, the more responsibilities and recognition they can receive.
